Analyst Comments
Austin College has done a fantastic job at recognizing ways in which it can continue to be a more sustainable campus, and its efforts at creating a better environment are noticeable throughout the website. Its community involvement, whether on campus or in nearby communities, is one of the best. The numerous efforts, such as providing safer and cleaner transportation for students and building "greener" dormitories, are reflective of what Austin College and its residents strive for?a safer and greener community. Austin College does need to do a better job at reporting employment information and policies. Though all employees have access to campus information and working terms through the "Austin College Intranet," it is important to make all employment information public on the website. Also, there is no easily accessible information regarding the college's expenditures and related policies. Analyzed by Giselle Fierro, and posted to the web on 10/6/2010.
