The city lists a number of goals and strategic plans to increase sustainability with the use of projects such as neighborhood-wide flood control, water quality, and street maintenance. Charlotte also reports much of the dialogue between its representatives and its stakeholders and improvements in housing in the community. The city, however, does not proved hard data either for the above listed topics, or in areas of recycling, energy, and waste.
