Analyst Comments
Unfortunately, even with all of their discussion of procedures and their quite detailed environmental policy statement, Morgan Stanley offers almost no quantitative data. They mention reductions in their CO2 output, but fail to report what that output is. They also lack data on most of the other quantitative fields, such as turnover rate, age, gender and race distributions, and water and paper usage. The strength of their report lies in the detail with which they layed out their policy. It covers everything from biodiversity and habitat preservation to rules concerning financing of companies which fail to meet certain guidelines.
