Central to the current activities of the Roberts Environmental Center is a laboratory developing environmental databases and applications.  Work is presently being done using ArcView 3.0 with the Spatial Analyst and Network Analyst extensions running on Windows NT 4.0 workstations in the domain of a dedicated Windows NT 4.0 server

Data modeling and database development are being facilitated using the software tool ERwin, and students are also involved in settting up Unix workstations for additional database server power and image processing capabilities.
